Drupal Seminar Held for students of AES Institute of Computer Studies at Ahmedabad
Date: 2nd April 2008, Time: 12.00 noon to 2.00 pm

Openkick Technologies, training division of Gloscon Solutions, Inc. once again organized an interactive seminar on Drupal for students of AES Institute of Computer Studies – affiliated with Gujarat University at Ahmedabad. The audience comprised of students from the 2nd, 4th and 6th semester of MCA division. The seminar provided the students an effective medium to know about this unique CMS that is getting a lot of attention around the world. This seminar was handled by technical staff of Gloscon Solutions.

The seminar started off with giving a brief background of OpenKick, the training division of Gloscon. Emphasis was laid on how adoption of open-source technologies by software professionals are the need of the hour and the career opportunities it has. The technical Team of Gloscon Solutions exposed some important aspect of Drupal and provided insights on the different useful topics such as

Apart from these topics, technical Team of Gloscon Solutions presented a live demo on how a person can easily make a website in a matter of minutes. Along with this, the Technical Team cleared all queries and doubts about Drupal. Openkick will be keeping different seminars across all the MCA/Engineering colleges in order to spread the word of Drupal and along with it all open source technologies in the IT professionals and student community.
